Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN MOGADISHU
Upon arrival at Aden Adde International Airport, receive immigration assistance for a smooth entry. Next, you are welcomed by the team and then transferred to your hotel to check in. After lunch, you will receive a quick briefing about your Mogadishu tour. Then, drive along Makka Almukarama Road to experience local life. Afterward, visit the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Italian Colonial Parliament, and Il Palazzo del Parlamento. Later, at Lido Beach, enjoy a boat ride, walk along the shoreline, and take in views of the Indian Ocean. Following this, visit Mogadishu Mall and Hamarweyne Market, then relax at a rooftop café overlooking Mogadishu Cathedral, which was built in 1928 and is the largest church in the Horn of Africa. To end the day, head to Peace Park and Airport Beach to watch the sunset and planes land. Finally, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mogadishu.

Day 2: FULL TOUR IN MOGADISHU
At 9:00 AM, visit Mogadishu’s Central Fish Market to see fresh seafood like sharks, turtles, tuna, and kingfish. Head to the Mogadishu Lighthouse for coastal views; watch fishermen carry big fish up the stairs. Stop at a souvenir shop in Hamarweyne to explore traditional crafts. Drive through Shanghai Old City, passing the bullet-marked former U.S. Embassy. Observe Bakara Market and key sites like the Black Hawk Down building and crash site from the vehicle. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Lido Beach with ocean views. End day the at Heritage Hotel to view Somali artifacts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: MOGADISHU-JAZEERA BEACH
Start at 9:00 AM in the morning. Explore Somalia’s history with visits to national monuments and the Somalia National Museum. Learn about Sayid Abdulle Hassan and see the Dhagaxtuur monument. Enjoy live shows at the National Theatre—note that watching live dance performances requires prior arrangement. Then explore the Camel Market, Money Exchange Market, and 14 OCT Monument. Take a 15 km road trip on newly tarmaced roads to Jazeera Beach, spot flamingos at Jazeera Lake, and enjoy swimming and a boat ride on Jazeera beach. Visit Abaydhaxan Beach, then experience camel rides and motorbike adventures in Nimow Desert, ending with a desert sunset. If there’s a football game, visit Mogadishu Football Stadium last to enjoy local sports. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Mogadishu.

Day 4: DEPARTURE
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Your security escort will drop you at the airport to catch your flight. No sightseeing on the final day.
